Patient survey and results

PATIENT SURVEYS

Patient surveys are conducted on an annual basis by an independent survey body.  The results can be found at the following link:

Patient Experience (gp-patient.co.uk)

The Practice will analysis the results and make improvement plans, where indicated, by way of having a measure against future surveys.

Patient access has been a key theme in the survey conducted in 2023 and since the results were published in the summer, the Practice has put in place a number of significant changes to improve access to the Practice.

The Practice will also use the survey results to ensure relevant staff training is in place.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST

The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. Listening to the views of patients and staff helps identify what is working well, what can be improved and how.

A FFT card is available for completion within the Practice, or the following link will provide you with an on-line option:

Data from the Friends and Family Test is published by NHS England.

The Practice also analysis the results, discusses themes and any actions required at its monthly Practice meeting, and then ensures implementation of plans to address any concerns raised.

However, the FFT also provides an excellent feedback mechanism for when things are going well and the Practice ensure these positive comments are fed back to the relevant Team and/or staff member on a regular basis.
